PAINTING AND COATINGS

Stucco painting in Metro Vancouver.

Stucco holds up well on the coast, but only when its cracks are dealt with and the coating suits the wall. We wash first, repair what has opened up, and apply a coating made for masonry, with the same attention to the caulked joints around windows and flashings.

What’s included

Every stucco painting project is priced from a walk-through and written up line by line, so you know exactly what you are paying for.

  • ✓Washing and mildew treatment
  • ✓Crack and hairline repair
  • ✓Patching of damaged sections
  • ✓Masonry primer where needed
  • ✓Finish coats to the specification

“We asked for quotations from 4 companies and Art Vision is the smallest of the four. Their quote is also not the lowest among the four. We picked Art Vision based on the fact that they have their own crews and would not subcontract out the project.”
George Chan, Riverwalk Townhomes
“We found the crew to be easy to deal with, honest, respectful, capable, skilled, knowledgeable, proactive, and just very nice folk. They went above and beyond.”
Dave Holsworth, Salish Estates
“Clayton, of MPDA did an excellent job of monitoring the quality of work, and progress of the project with regular inspection reports to Council, and our Management Company.”
Victor Murray, Westglen

FAQ

Questions we hear

How often does stucco need painting?

Often every 10 to 15 years, as long as the caulking is kept up in between. South and west walls usually go first.

Will the texture change?

A good repaint keeps the texture. Patches are blended, though a repair can show on a dark or glossy finish, so we talk about colour with you first.
